Sony Pictures has unveiled a behind-the-scenes vignette for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” offering fans a glimpse into the first day of production. The 60-second clip features Tom Holland, who dons the Spidey suit and interacts with young fans, all while shooting a scene atop what appears to be a military tank speeding down the street.
“It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on ‘Spider-Man,’” Holland expresses as he steps onto the set. “Putting the suit on feels different this time. It’s exciting to have fans here for day one.” The footage includes a heartwarming moment where Holland lifts a young fan dressed as Spider-Man for a photo.
Accompanied by a stirring soundtrack, the vignette showcases Holland performing a stunt on the tank, only to inadvertently break the vehicle’s handle with his Spider-Man strength. The excitement builds as he finishes a take, flexing for the camera and exclaiming, “That felt sick!”
In anticipation of the film’s release, fans were previously treated to sneak peeks, including a teaser of the new Spidey suit. “Brand New Day,” directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, is inspired by a popular comic storyline and marks the fourth film in the Spider-Man saga, with some new faces joining the cast.
